Excellent new photo printers from a good company. We like the new 12-ink technology including dedicated Matte Black and Photo Black channels with Violet ink, plus black enhanced overcoat technology. What's not to like about the all new piezo head technology that is 2.4 times faster than current models. We like the convenient user head maintenance features (it's about time!), and the built-in color balanced LED print viewing light. We really like that this is all new technology, and definitely is not a minor cosmetic upgrade.

This new unit opens up opportunities for photographers and fine artists to multiply the number of products they can offer from their signature images. It is also a compact, affordable unit for schools. The printer is a bare bones printer with no bundled workflow/layout software such as the Epson EdgePrint or other software - so you need to print directly from applications or add third party RIP/printing software.
